It comes with an extra HEPA filter and a small bottle of cleaning solution concentrate (only a capful is needed for each cleaning cycle). The Floor One S5 Combo self cleans and charges on a dock that has additional storage for the included cleaning brush and accessories (an additional storage tray is included for the handheld vacuum attachments). The Floor One S5 Combo is Wi-Fi enabled and connects to a companion app that shows cleaning logs, upgrades the firmware, and the best part: turns down or completely mute the voice prompts (there’s a mute button on the back of the vacuum, too).

It has voice prompts as well as a full-color, animated LED display to indicate status, mode, battery level, as well as maintenance alerts. That efficiency is due to Tineco’s proprietary iLoop sensor which detects wet and dry messes and adjusts the suction power, roller speed, and water flow accordingly. Though the battery has a shorter run time than many other mop vacs (about 20 minutes, compared to about 30–35 minutes for other models), the Floor One S5 Combo managed to clean the areas of bare floor in my modestly-sized kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom, and hallway floors on a single charge. This was also one of only two mop vacs I tested with a roller that goes all the way to the edge of the motorhead, making it possible to clean along baseboards and under cabinets. In its default mop-vac configuration it impressively cleaned my floors in a single pass, it didn’t leave any wet spots, and it was one of the quietest models I tried.
